WOGA Classic 2010

The 2010 WOGA Classic had an excellent field of competitors, with athletes from around the world representing 8 nations including Rebecca Bross, USA, the recent runner up in the all around at the 2009 World Championships, and the Individual Vault “world champion” Kayla Williams.
Senior 18 competitors: International participants from CAN, COL, JPN, UKR, USA.
The 2010 WOGA Classic had an excellent field of competitors with athletes from around the world representing eight nations.
In the FIG Senior category, Dominique Pegg of Bluewater Gymnastics in Sarnia, Ont., was second all-around and won silver on floor and bronze on bars. Dominique, one of the most consistent and exciting gymnasts at this event, competes next at the prestigious Tyson American Cup in Worcester, Mass., on March 6th.
Bianca Dancose-Giambattisto of Gym-Richelieu in St-Hubert, Que.,won silver on bars at her first international competition as a senior.
Other Canadian participants were Emily Bigras, Bluewater, Cynthia Lemieux-Guillemette, Gym-Richelieu and Gabrielle May, Panthers Gymnastics
The top Canadian in the junior event was Rochelle Hurt from Gymnastics Mississauga with fourth all around, silver on beam and fourth on bars in a field of 15 competitors from Canada, Japan, Ukraine and the United States.
Other Canadian participants included national team member Anna Gamelo of Gymnastics Mississauga, who finished 9th all around.
